The monitoring team of Ministry of Women Affairs Community and Social Development continued the inspection exercise of WESAP trainees and their respective centres to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines of the programme and to also convey the message of the Honourable Commissioner to the participants.
The team made it lucid to trainees that the administration of HE Sen(Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa has paid for all the required materials including their logistics to their various training centres across the state. The only way they can return this laudable gesture is to become a stronger woman in the Stronger Delta vision through sustainable skills acquisition.
One of the main objective or the unscheduled inspection was to have on the spot assessment of the quality of services the trainers are providing and the level of seriousness of the trainees. This is also part of the overall assessment of trainees to qualifying for the ultimate starter packs.
Recall that the commissioner of the coordinating ministry Hon(Mrs) Flora Alatan announced that HE Sen(Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa has a lot of women friendly programmes that will transform the economic landscape of Delta State. She made these assertions while flagging off WESAP Phase 2 Vocational. The Honourable Commissioner appreciated the Governor for being there for indigent Delta women. The exercise continues to other Local Government Areas.
