Kwale – Following the conclusion of inspection in Delta South and Central Senatorial districts, the Monitoring team was at Ndokwa West LGA to continue the exercise of unscheduled visits to WESAP training centres to assess the levels of compliance to WESAP Guidelines. In addition, the team was also there to communicate the message of the Hon(Mrs) Flora Alatan, the coordinating commissioner of the Ministry of Women Affairs Community and Social Development, Asaba. The team visited the various training centres at Utagbogbe, Ashaka and Alamossia area, all in Kwale. The trainees were seen engaging in practical demonstration of the craft acquired thus far. According to them, the training has afforded them the opportunity to acquire the requisite skills to be a stronger women in the stronger Delta vision of HE Sen(Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa.

Recalled that the Honourable Commissioner of Women Affairs Community and Social Development Mrs Flora Alatan announced during the flag off exercise that the State Government has paid for all the trainees to ensure seamless and or adequate training processes for these unskilled indigent Delta women. Hence, the inspection visit to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines because Delta State Government is building a more skillful Delta State through meaningful skilsl acquisition.

The exercise was concluded in Ndokwa West LGA with a charge to the trainees to stay focused and maintain the vigor to the end of the training exercise because the assessment will be continuous till the graduation day. The exercise continues to Ika South and Ika North East.
