Asaba – In conclusion of the inspection exercise, monitoring team of the Ministry of Women Affairs Community and Social Development visited the remaining WESAP training centres in Delta North Senatorial districts with a call for trainees and trainers to adhere to the guidelines of WESAP.

The inspectors reemphasize the inaugural speech of Hon(Mrs) Flora Alatan the coordinating commissioner of the Ministry. The trainees were made to understand that, focus, dedication to the programme is the only sure path to successful graduation. The monitoring team was able to correlate the relationship between the Stronger Delta vision of HE Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa and WESAP which intends to build stronger women that are mentally and financially stronger through meaningful skills acquisition.

Recalled that, as part of efforts by the Ministry of Women Affairs Community and Social Development to ensure strict compliance to WESAP training guidelines, the Honourable Commissioner Mrs Flora Alatan deployed staff of the agency to carry out unscheduled visits to all the training centres across the State. The exercise provided the opportunity  for on the spot assessment of trainees and trainers facility to ensure optimum service on returns for indigent Delta women. Also, the monitoring team was able to discuss with trainees on the overall training exercise thus far.

Finally, the exercise was concluded with a charge for both trainees and trainers to adhere strictly to WESAP tenets.
